Sheets for all types of joints Cemflex VB

CEMflex VB is a mineral coated sheet metal intended for the insulation of construction joints in concrete. What makes this product unique is the special, patented crystallization coating with which the sheet metal is coated on both sides. The extreme bonding strength of the crystallization coating with the concrete enables a permanent and reliable sealing of the joint.

CEMflex VB is an active sealing sheet with an international patent.

Installation method

CEMflex VB sheets are very easy to install. The sheets are placed in the center of the joint and are attached to the reinforcement using an “omega” holder. The joints of the two sheets overlap by 5 cm and are connected using staples. In the case of irregular angles, CEMflex VB sheets can be easily bent into the appropriate angle shape, without fear of damaging the coating. CEMflex VB sheets must be installed at least 3 cm into the fresh concrete in order to achieve reliable sealing. CEMflex VB sheets can be simply inserted into the fresh concrete and connected using staples (sub-wall joint). CEMflex VB sheets ensure quick and easy installation because they are not adhesive and do not have any protective foil that needs to be removed during installation and care must be taken not to get dirty. CEMflex VB sheets can be used throughout the year regardless of the season or weather conditions, so they can be installed in rain, snow, sun, etc.

Packaging

CEMflex VB sheets are supplied to the market packed in wooden boxes of 50 pieces x 2m' = 100 m' in one box. Individual elements have dimensions of 2 mx 15 cm x 1.25mm.

Field of application

• wall-floor working connection in case of pressurized water or moisture
• working joint in the area of wall-wall, floor-floor, wall-ceiling
• joints of prefabricated parts: wall-floor area, corners or anticipated places of crack formation.

The moment water reaches the CEMproof®CEMflex VB sheet, the crystallization process begins. The coating on both sides of the sheet ensures that crystallization takes place in the direction of water entry into the concrete.

Thanks to the crystallization process, water penetration is closed all the way to the junction of the horizontal and vertical walls, thus providing complete protection for the fittings.
